MARCH10 may function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that accepts a ubiquitin residue from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme and immediately transfers that residue to a protein that is targeted for degradation. Function: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase (Probable). E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates.
